Samarkand State Medical University

Samarkand State Medical University is considered one of the most advanced higher education institutions in the country and today it is producing qualified professionals through innovative educational programs that fully meet modern technological standards and international requirements.

The University was founded in 1930 and has come a long way in becoming one of the leading medical universities not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the entire Central Asia region.

These faculties operate on the basis of 74 departments with 1,190 classrooms equipped with modern computers and 75 multimedia classes. There is an Academic Lyceum at the Samarkand Medical Institute.
